Autumn's Song

Autumn's Song • 8"w x 8"h
Over the weekend I dropped off eight new canvases at Siiviis Gallery as they had sold five the previous week and requested some more. I have to admit I was a little surprised as this is the part of the year when sales are slow for artists and you have to paint ahead for the summer season. But something happened in working fast to complete the works in a timely manner. They ended up on the bright side, brighter than any I can remember in recent history. I love the color, the crispness, the life in these works. Please stop by Siiviis Gallery if you're in the Duluth area to check them out. Today's post titled Autumn's Song is one of the new works at the gallery, more will be posted later this week.

Please contact Siiviis Gallery for more information about this painting.

Sivertson Gallery Blog features my paintings :)

Sivertson Gallery's blog has a nice little post about my artwork along with a write-up by an employee sharing their impressions of my artwork and how they react to it. Also a couple images are on their blog, including this one which shows their gallery display of my original acrylics taken in mid-November 2012.

Aaron’s paintings continue to inspire me to get out into these beautiful woods that surround Grand Marais, and count my blessings that I am able to enjoy the wilderness along with these fantastic paintings, all year round at the gallery.

Thank you Sivertson Gallery! -A :)

Tiny Art Show at the PROVE Gallery, Duluth

Last night my family and I visited the PROVE Collective Gallery in Duluth to view the opening reception of a wonderful show at the gallery titled 'Tiny Art.' The show was amazing, such a diverse collection of art from sculpture to painting to music and more. My work was so compelling at the 4"x4" scale of each canvas. What a wonderful experience, and great turnout for the opening.
