All in a row

Here is a new piece from my Landscapes show titled All in a Row, 16"w x 12"h, at Lizzards Gallery available for viewing now through Nov. 8, 2014. The cardinal makes it's way into many of my landscapes, and these cardinals have a nice warm ambience to them, provided by the gold and brown foliage surrounding them. Perhaps the thought of warm and cozy in the midst of cool rainy weather inspired this piece. Or the vibrant red feathers of the cardinal .. or both.
